FORGED 4340 SCAT PRO COMP I-BEAM RODS w/ARP8740 BOLTS 4.7L Mopar

These are recommended for MOST 4.7L Performance builds. To be used with our ROSS Pistons. These Scat I-beam connecting rods will support over 700HP @ 7500rpms all day long. They incorporate all of the best features possible for an I-beam rod, including some strength adders found in H-beam designs. Scat Pro Comp I-beam connecting rods are profiled with clearance for long stroke applications. Good for applications up to 700+RWHP.

These connecting rods with ARP 8740 7/16 bolts are rated to 700 Horsepower on Small blocks, and 800 horsepower on big blocks. When used on a short stroke engine such as the 4.7L 3.10 stroke these rods are virtually indestructible. These connecting rods feature a one-rib cap design for added strength and bearing support, polished beams to eliminate stress risers, and special hollow dowels with huge 7/16 in. ARP cap screw bolts to greatly increase strength and horsepower capabilities.

NOT INTENDED FOR USE WITH STOCK PISTONS! These rods require pistons with a .927 FREE FLOATING wrist pin. These are to be used with our ROSS Pistons only!

Use standard 4.7L TABLESS bearings with these Rods. These are the best H-Beam Rod available ready for high performance 4.7L engines. These Rods are intended to be used with our Ross Piston sets as a combo. The part number in NOT an actual SCAT Part number and has been changed to reflect resizing.

These kits are intended to be BALANCED at your local machine shop, no reason to dump a ton of money into your engine only to skip balancing... this should be done on all built engines. We will do our best to send you a balance assembly but it's up to the customer to verify and balance with the crankshaft used in the buildup.
