Unlike other hoods, this Rough Country Vented Performance Hood is engineered with multiple air vents. These air vents are designed to allow more air to enter the hood and dissipate heat faster. This helps keep your Wrangler's engine bay cooler, preventing your engine from overheating.
To make this hood stand out from the rest, Rough Country uses CNC laser-cut steel to manufacture this Vented Performance Hood. This manufacturing technique makes this performance hood stronger and more durable than your Wrangler's factory hood. This Rough Country Vented Performance Hood comes unpainted with a black primer so you can coat it to exactly match the current setup of your Wrangler.
Bolt-On Installation. Utilizing the OEM latches and hinges on your Jeep, this Hood is a direct fit replacement for the factory hood. Shipping unpainted, this Hood will require prep, primer and paint prior to installation, completed by your local shop. Please check locally for pricing estimates.

Technical Notes. We recommend professional installation of all body parts. We also recommended test fitting this product before it is painted.
Note: Sanded, primed or altered parts are non-returnable. All hoods ship truck freight. Hoods can be shipped to a residential address for additional cost. Freight charges are non-refundable.

Upon receiving the hood please be sure to inspect the item for "freight damage". If there are signs of freight damage you must refuse the item, then contact us immediately. Once we verify the freight damage with the carrier a replacement item will be shipped. This process usually takes about 5-10 business days.
It is the customer's responsibility to inspect the item.
The two most common signs of freight damage are holes punctured by a fork lift or it's being dropped by the driver causing the corner to break off.
We will not be held liable for any damages after the delivery receipt is signed off.
