The RAM RTrack dual disc clutch kits are modeled after their highly successful drag racing clutches used in high-horsepower Pro Stock and ProModified applications. The RTrack dual clutch kits use a stand-driven floater plate, which provides higher torque capacity and negative load capacity for vehicles that see more use at the track. They also use a 2,400 lb. clamp-load pressure plate for good holding power without excessive pedal effort. The RAM RTrack dual disc clutch kits also feature a 300 Series sprung hub top disc and a solid hub bottom disc for silky-smooth engagement. SFI Certified Flywheel Included:
RAM Force RTrack twin-plate clutch kits include a billet aluminum, SFI-certified flywheel with a steel insert that has sufficient mass to draw heat away from the clutch without distortion. If you're setting your car up with major mods and nitrous or boost, then this is the clutch for you.
Increased Drivability:
In addition to all of the other tweaks made to this clutch to maximize it's street manners, it's large (for a dual-disc) diameter marginally increases it's weight. This translates into more inertia which will make the car easier to drive at low speeds, particularly when a large camshaft is used.

Break In:
The best way to break in your new RAM clutch is by driving 450-500 miles in stop & go conditions. The idea is to cycle the clutch as much as possible without putting too much heat into it. Highway miles should not be included during the break in mileage.
